As the Corporate University of the Home Team, the Home Team Academy (HTA) plays a crucial role in the Home Team training & learning ecosystem. HTA develops Home Team leaders, trainers and officers to ensure that they are equipped with cutting-edge skills and knowledge needed to achieve the mission of keeping Singapore safe and secure, as one Home Team.

HTA focuses on empowering learning and growth in order to enable a united and successful Home Team. Through our four organisational directions of Training & Learning, Technology & Digitalisation, People and Partnerships, HTA enables the transformation of the Home Team’s training capabilities to keep Singapore safe and secure.

Our Courses

We conduct courses for leaders, trainers and officers from all Home Team departments, ranging from new entrants to senior management. The courses are designed to enhance participants’ understanding of MHA, the larger operating environment, leadership development, crisis management, emergency preparedness, communications and joint operations.

HTA also runs programmes on crisis leadership, and homefront safety and security for whole-of-government leaders and senior law enforcement officials from overseas.
