The MHA Home Team Diploma Sponsorship is awarded to outstanding polytechnic students who demonstrate leadership qualities and are passionate in strengthening Singapore's security and public safety.
The sponsorship provides you with financial incentives during your studies and thereafter a fulfilling and rewarding career with the Home Team.

All Home Team sponsorships are open to male and female applicants.
If you have not served National Service (NS), your NS obligations depend on which Home Team department you choose to join.

Under the MTE scheme, you will serve as a regular officer and receive regular pay. At the end of the 5-year MTE period, you would have fulfilled your NS obligations and the Home Team Diploma Sponsorship bond.
Upon graduation, you will serve at a Home Team department of your choice. You will be given opportunities to acquire new skills and upgrade your academic qualifications as your progress with the Home Team.
