Ms He Ting Ru: To ask the Minister for Home Affairs in the last five years, how many deaths by suicide were recorded for women who were pregnant or had given birth in the past one year.

Answer:

1.   The number of deaths by suicide between 2016 and 2020 of females who had given birth in the year prior to death is in Table 1.

2.   We do not have data on the number of deaths by suicide of females who were pregnant at the point of death.
