Minister for Home Affairs and Minister for Law, Mr K Shanmugam, is visiting the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Egypt and Saudi Arabia from 5 – 13 November 2017.
2. On 6 November 2017, Minister Shanmugam called on His Highness Mohammed bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Arms Forces, and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council.
3. Minister Shanmugam also met with UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan. During their meetings, they reaffirmed the warm and close relations between Singapore and the UAE, and had a good exchange of views on bilateral security cooperation as well as on the global terrorism threat.
4. Minister Shanmugam will also be visiting Egypt and Saudi Arabia where he will have meetings with his counterparts and security officials.
