Civil Defence (CD) Lionhearter Club

The Civil Defence Lionhearters are SCDF's youth volunteers and Emergency Preparedness (EP) ambassadors.

As a Civil Defence Lionhearter, you will be trained in emergency skills so that you can be a Community First Responder. You will provide immediate assistance for both on-campus and off-campus emergencies, helping to save lives and minimise property damage before the SCDF arrives.

As an EP ambassador, you'll impart your knowledge and lifesaving skills to members of the public during various community outreach events.

Volunteers may also have the opportunity to participate in overseas humanitarian projects, such as with Mercy Relief and Singapore Red Cross.

I take pride in working with the regular officers, PNSFs, PNSmen and civilian staff to maintain law and order, and to keep Singapore safe. I also enjoy interacting with members of the public during our patrols and roadshows. I feel I am part of a larger family and this keeps inspiring me to do my best.
